Please join us for the upcoming event: Observing and Documenting the Lasting Impacts of Segregation in Raleigh, NC which aims to be a dynamic discussion on the lasting legacy of segregation and its relationship to current issues of equity, access, and affordability around Raleigh’s housing crisis. This event will showcase the research and work of local historian Carmen Cauthen, author of History of Raleigh’s Black Neighborhoods, local community advocates Lisa Boccetti and Bob Williams, volunteer coordinators of the Wake County Racially Restrictive Covenants Project and Tania Allen and Sara Queen, NC State Professors working to critically map equity and access in the built environment.
