J. Hyatt Hammond Scholarship

The J. Hyatt Hammond Scholarship was created to provide young professionals a chance to attend the state's premier gathering of architects. Established in 1999, the fund provides scholarships to go towards Design Conference expenses.

Applications will open in Spring of 2025

Each year, we will award 10 scholarships for $1000 to the Aspire Conference, this year taking place from September 14-16, 2025 in Asheville, NC.

This three-day event offers 36 different keynotes, talks and chats, and an interactive Early Leaders track for you to attend. You will also be able to network with the top architects and decision-makers from Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Eligibility is restricted to AIA North Carolina associate members and architect members who have been licensed for less than 10 years.
